FIBER
OPTIC
INSTALLATION.

Single-mode and multi-mode fiber installed and certified for backbones, building-to-building runs, and data-center cross-connects. Fusion spliced, Tier 1 & Tier 2 tested, and terminated at rack-mount enclosures with full trace documentation.

02WHAT WE INSTALL
01
Backbone & riser fiber

Vertical riser and horizontal backbone fiber between MDF and IDFs, sized for current and future speeds. Loss budget calculated during design so 40G/100G upgrades don't require repulling.

02
Building-to-building outside plant

Direct-burial, innerduct, aerial, and armored OSP runs between campus buildings. We coordinate trenching, install handhole vaults, and enter buildings with proper firestop and grounding.

03
Data-center cross-connects

MTP/MPO-based structured cabling with LC breakouts at each cabinet. Cassettes and trunk cables sized to spine-and-leaf topologies so switch upgrades don't touch the plant.

04
Fusion splicing & OTDR certification

On-site fusion splicing with heat-shrink protection in rack-mount enclosures. Bidirectional OTDR traces and OLTS insertion loss reports delivered per strand.

03TYPICAL PROJECTS
  • Multi-building campus backbone
  • Warehouse trunk between office and dock IDF
  • Data-center MTP structured cabling
  • Bandwidth upgrade from CAT to fiber uplinks
  • Fiber to the WAP (FTTA) programs
  • Outside-plant runs between buildings on one parcel
04FAQ
Q-01
Should I use single-mode (OS2) or multi-mode (OM3/OM4) fiber?
OS2 single-mode is the right choice for backbone runs over ~300 meters, campus/building-to-building, and any path where 40G/100G upgrades are anticipated. OM4 multi-mode is common for short data-center and MDF-to-IDF links under 400 meters at 10G or 150 meters at 40G. We size the plant during design so future upgrades don't require re-pulling fiber.
Q-02
Do you do fusion splicing on-site?
Yes. All splices are performed with a fusion splicer on-site, protected with heat-shrink sleeves, and terminated in a rack-mount fiber enclosure with proper strain relief. Splice loss is verified with OTDR bidirectionally.
Q-03
How is the fiber plant tested and certified?
We deliver Tier 1 (OLTS insertion loss) and Tier 2 (OTDR trace) test results for every strand. Reports include loss budget vs measured loss, event-by-event OTDR traces, and connector-end-face inspection photos where required.
Q-04
Can you install outside-plant fiber between buildings?
Yes. We handle direct-burial, innerduct, aerial-lash, and armored outside-plant runs, including trenching coordination, handhole vaults, and building entry with proper firestopping. All OSP terminates in an indoor patch panel with a grounded splice tray.
Q-05
Do you provide fiber connectors like LC, SC, MTP/MPO?
Yes. We terminate LC, SC, ST, and MTP/MPO connectors and can convert between them with cassettes. For 40G/100G spine-to-leaf we typically install MTP-based structured cabling with breakouts at each cabinet.
